EVENTS FOR THE WEEK AHEAD

Today:

• 10:00 AM, Worship and Celebration Service, followed by a covered dish fellowship meal.  Bring enough for your family, plus one.  Everyone is welcome! Plus, pick-up an ink pen in the lobby or hallway as a token to remember this special day.
•   4:15 PM, Leaving for the 5:00 PM Multi-Church Worship Service at Southside Baptist Church.  NO evening BSF groups.

Wednesday, May 1st, 7:00 PM: Pastor Paul continues a series for May entitled, “Israel, World War III, & Armageddon.”

Thursday: Day-5 Fellowship will enjoy a trip to the Farmer’s Market and lunch at Olympic Restaurant; leave church at 9:30 AM.

Next Sunday: Mother’s Day, including children’s choir; No evening BSF groups.

Thank You! To everyone who helped with the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, your willingness to serve as a greeter or to bring food helped to make it a successful event.

VBS Sign Team: Attention middle and high school students, if you are interested in being part of our VBS sign team, then meet Brooke Laws in the banquet room after worship next Sunday, May 12th.

Adult Summer Golf League: Interested in joining a summer golf league with others from Gospel? See Pastor Nick or visit gospelbc.org/golf. Registration ends Sunday, May 19.

• May 14: North Carolina Primary Runoff Election Day (Note: early voting is open in select locations)
• May 16: 6:00 PM,  Harvest Academy Parent Information Meeting
• May 17 (Fri): GIFT Ministry, starts at 5:45 PM
• May 18 (Saturday): 

• Ladies Care Fellowship, 9:30-11AM sign up at the lobby desk for a morning of fun, food, devotion, & fellowship
• Auditorium Bible Class will host the adults for a covered dish meal at Bur-Mil Park, Shelter #5, 5 - 8 PM.

• May 19: Graduate Sunday; At 6:00 PM, a Gospel Gathering for the congregation to discuss current and future ministry plans; a dessert fellowship will follow.
• May 26: Memorial Day Ceremony presented by the Veterans as part of the worship service; No evening BSF groups
• May 27 (Mon): Food Pantry Distribution, 10:00 AM-Noon
• May 31 (Fri):

• Men’s Prayer Breakfast, 9:00 AM
• GIFT Ministry starts at 5:45 PM

• June 9: Youth Sunday, Baby Dedication; spaghetti lunch fundraiser (sign-up at the lobby desk or online).
• June 16: Father’s Day; No evening BSF groups
• June 17-21: Vacation Bible School in the evenings

Super Seniors Events - Pick up an Itinerary

The Super Seniors welcome those 55 or over to join in for special events and outings, including:

• May 16, (Thurs) - Supper at the Harbor Inn Seafood in Burlington. Sign up!  Vans leaving the church at 3:15
• June 1 (Sat), 4:00 Cookout & Games at the church
• Niagara Falls/Toronto Trip Info sheets are out. Limited Space
• Celebrators Conference October 14 - 17, in Pigeon Forge, Tn - pick up an info sheet, limited rooms

Children’s Ministry Events:

• Stay up to date on our children's ministry events by texting @gbcchild to 81010 
• May 12: Children’s Worship Choir singing in the morning service for Mother’s Day. Practice is on Sunday mornings in Junior Church (grades 1-5).
• June 17-21: Vacation Bible School (6:30-8:45 pm)
• June 30: Sunday Funday for preschool through 5th grade! Tidal Wave 22 ft. Water Slide! Wear old shorts and t-shirts and bring a towel! (6-7 pm)
